My interest in art began in high school starting with jewelry fabrication to building sculptures along the San Francisco Bay with recycled materials.
Later focusing my interests to become a Landscape Architect. I found my creative energy and 3-dimensional view of the world to be very useful in my profession, though with different materials and at a different scale.
I'm currently, pursuing my sculptural aspirations though welded steel and wooden constructions, that evoke both whimsy and abstraction. I feel work continues to imply a sense scale and monumentality.
My paintings of common food items, explore abstract shapes and views in colorful patterns and playful shapes.
